Scott Speaker

This radio utilizes a Scott branded Jensen HNP-51 speaker.

It's design is based on the concept of the exponential horn. The high frequency driver is mounted on the rear of the magnet. A horn with a gradually increasing curve shape is machined through the center of the magnet, which continues smoothly past the end of the magnet and onto the paper cone, creating a continuous "horn" design. Low frequencies are developed from the paper cone, high frequencies by the high frequency driver, and everything in-between is developed across the transition area of the horn in the magnet and the paper cone.

Rather unique, but it sounds great! Driven by the Scott's 25 watt amp, this thing can literally blow your ears out!
